Dancehall Bashment @ Tropical Reflections

As usual, nothing ever goes as planned. I sped up 95N with my kids in tow. One thing I knew was that I would not, could not miss Peach's first dance. I had to drop the kids in Jersey @ my mother's house and I still wasn't too sure where the venue was. I had to get to my aunt's, get dressed, find Atus and get to the venue....and it was already 12:50amwhen I dropped the kids off.

When I got to Brooklyn, I located Gus and got directions. We were supposed to go together but he was already on his way to the venue...cause I was so damn late!! Luckily the venue was literally around the corner and up the street from my aunt's house and that helped cause I could slow down a little and get myself together.

I arrived at Tropical Reflections at around 2:30am and found parking. When I got inside Peach was talking to security and I came in and we greeted each other. The venue was not yet full, but I knew big things were in store! I headed to the bar and then chatted with Mosity, Joyce, Gus and Barney...In the blink of an eye, the venue started to fill up and you know how it went from then on. The music was going on nice as Super Twitch got everyone into the mood. Peach introduced me to a lot of folks and I was able to meet some of the people that I see on her site in person.

Everyone was dressed to kill and ready to enjoy an evening out with the Diva. Peach made her rounds and did little mini interviews with some of the folks in the venue. We all popped bottles and enjoyed the vibes. I worked that night...its hard in a venue that big to get pictures of everyone. If I missed you, I'm truly sorry, and I'll try to catch you the next time!

Peach seemed to enjoy herself immensely and wouldn't you know it...CHAMPAIGN SPLASH! ‘Go Peach, its your birthday...and we don't give a F*CK its NOT your birthday!!' It was, however cause for celebration. Its not everyday women in the business rise to higher level and become real players in the business. Peach, you've done a wonderful job and you deserve the rewards. Trust me, BLU.com will always be there to support you! I enjoyed myself TOO MUCH on Saturday night and I'm glad I took the drive!
