It came and went again ladies and gents. B&L Promotions Annual HU Homecoming Dance. The line up is always hot, and this year was no exception. Stonelove, Rebel-T and Raw Deal were all in attendance this year to help dancehall patrons and HU alumnus alike celebrate one of the bashiest events of the year and BLU.com was on hand for the festivities.

I arrived a little late on Saturday night (1:30am) because I had been ripping and running all day long. I got to the venue and once again, the line was RIDICULOUS!…Luckily for me, Omar from B&L was outside conversing with one of the patrons and I was able to just go straight through.

Inside, the venue was about half full and I waited for some good photo ops. Rebel T was doing their thing and the dance seemed to have the potential to be exceptionally nice. I located my friends from NYC, the Cash Money Bankers and it was on from then! Gotta say big up to Johnny Banker, C-Money and Stretchy for coming down and supporting one of our annual events. Rebel T was doing a great job of keeping the vibes up and as I walked ALL AROUND the venue, I couldn't help but notice how many people came out to support this event and what a good time they were having! Most folks were more than willing to pose for the Bashment Cam and I was more than willing to oblige. BLU.com has gone through so many transformations, its nice to see that folks still check for us and what we are trying to do.

As I came back around to where I started (by CMB) I realized that it was time for me to get ready for the bashment and videolight time!…

Raw Deal was next up and damn do they carry a vibe. They bigged up all massive and crew and made sure the video man had A LOT to videotape. Boy I tell you, when Lexus seh 'talk up inna di video' di gyal dem tek it SERIOUS! If you didn't get the hell out of the way, you would have got RAN THE F OVA…for real. The ladies truly enjoyed themselves and did their thing for Jimmy the videoman that night. A lot of messages were sent, and a lot of statements made, but all in all it was a carefree vibe! Raw Deal made it a point to big up CMB outta New York…then Banton made the mistake of asking for champagne splash…well…out of the case of Mo' that these guys purchase…a couple of bottles were sprinkled all over the floor and on some of the patrons…lol, I tell you Jimmy was busy that night and so was your girl Kimmy B!

Next up was Geefus (with is cute self) and the StoneLove gang. Well, what can I say about this segment. More of the same BASHMENT!…Tall up, tall up, walk up, talk up, skin out, bruk out…generally gwan BAD! Stonelove kept the ruckus going, kept the girls acting up and had CMB buss the new dance named the "Skettel Run" and trust me, this one you have GOT to see!! I don't think I could EVER do that in stiletto heels (remind me not to do that again)!! There was a lot more video activity, when all hell broke loose in the front of the venue. I can't honestly tell ya'll that I know exactly what happened, but what I do know is that because of the crowd, it took security a long time to get up front, so the fight took on new dimensions and it looked like someone was hurt…at least there was a whole lot of blood…*sigh* I hope that both young ladies are o.k. and can put their differences behind them.

All in all, B&L Promotions 12th Annual event was a definite success. Big up to Omar STRAIGHT, you did it again bro, even the venue thing worked to, so this toast is for you!…Thanks for taking care of BLU.com that night, good lookin!
