Whad up folks? Kimmy here once again to bring you the scoop on the Bounty Killer & Pinchers show!

We arrived at the venue around 1:45am and I was a little worried that we would have missed the whole show. I didn't drive, so I had to wait on Ms. Crys, among other things. When we got to the venue, I was kinda surprised that there were not more people in there. I mean, it was nearly 2am, the venue closes at 3am (supposedly) and the place had a huge empty space in the middle…that changed FAST. By the time I took some early pictures and walked the floor a little bit, I was taken back stage by Opal, who was one of the promoters for this event. Back stage there was Bounty, looking deadly dressed in full black and flanked by his bodyguard, Rhino. I was kinda intimidated, and I don't intimidate easily. I took a deep breath and I took myself over to Bounty's bodyguard and requested a picture. He was very nice and replied "sure"…he posed for the picture and I proceeded to position myself so that I would have a better vantage point to see the stage. There was a little confusion going on, because to my knowledge MDK and Rude Kid were both to open the show, however because of time constraints, this was not possible. EZ Street was the MC for the night, and even he fell victim to time constraints.

Pinchers took the stage with enormous energy, and was well received by the Washington, DC fans. He performed songs like 'Agony', 'Pirates', 'Brenda' and then he left the stage only to return in a full 'Bandelero outfit that added to the performance…he crooned and wooed the crowd and appreciation was being shown. In my estimation, Pinchers is a legend, so you know I had to run out into the crowd and get some front row shots (sorry to the folks upfront :/). Check back later this week for a BLU.com exclusive interview with this legendary artist!

Bounty Killer was up next and the people were getting ready to tear down the walls. Bounty hit the stage with his signature 'Aye Yo, Yallow' and the place mash up. Bounty did hits from 'Lodge' to 'Living Dangerously', from 'Cellular Phone' to 'Fitness' and I enjoyed every living minute of it. Once me and my stilettos ran around the corner and up to the front to take some front row shots of one of my favorite artists. Bounty gave the people exactly what they wanted, even took some shots at his arch rival Beenie Man….and poor Merciless…dayum, Bounty gwan BAD! He was very interested in pleasing the DC massive and even stayed over his time. I'm glad I got to cover this show…most definitely.

In closing, Escalade Promotions and Fisherman Productions put on a successful event, all acts were in attendance and the show was very well attended. BIG UP to Ms. Opal and Winston for holding BLU.com down and making sure we were up to the time! This is Kimmy logging off, but before I go I gotta big up certain and certain people:

Ms. Crys (thanks girl), Emperor Family, Half Krazy Family, Snatch Gyal Crew, Babygirl and Terry, Julian (good lookin' out), Rudeboy (str8) and all who nuh mention…BLU.com love yuh same way!!
